Chasing the Delta Academy Bot – Terms of Service

The Chasing the Delta Academy Bot (“the Bot”) is a service that helps maintain consistent and verified user identities between the Chasing the Delta Academy website (“the Site”), Discord, and iRacing.
1. Purpose
The Bot automatically verifies and syncs your Discord display name with your linked Academy and iRacing accounts. This ensures that participants in Academy events and discussions can be easily identified and matched with their iRacing profiles.
2. Account Linking
The Bot operates only for users who have linked their Discord account to their Academy account.
The Academy account must also be linked to a valid iRacing account using iRacing’s official data APIs.
Unlinked or invalid accounts are ignored by the Bot.
3. Data Usage
The Bot reads limited public and account-identifying data, including:
Your Discord user ID and display name
Your Academy account ID and display name
Your iRacing member ID and profile information (via iRacing APIs)
This data is used solely for account verification and display name synchronization. The Bot does not read or store messages, activity logs, or sensitive information.
4. Liability
Use of the Bot is provided “as is.” The Chasing the Delta Academy team is not responsible for errors, interruptions, or data discrepancies caused by Discord, iRacing, or changes to their APIs.
5. Updates
As new features are added—such as expanded iRacing data integration or academy event tools—these Terms may be updated. Continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
